Directions to AIYM High Adventure Camp
Directions from Alamosa to Camp
Take 285 South approximately 3 miles to Highway 370 West. Turn right and go approximately 15 miles to a stop sign. Turn left on Highway 15 South and go 2 miles. Turn right on to a dirt road (Forest Road 250). Go approximately 15 miles to AIYM High Adventure Camp. You will pass Terrace Reservior (4.5 miles from camp) and Alamosa Campground (1.5 miles from camp) along the way. You will see the camp's red roof buildings on your left before you come to the camp entrance.
Directions from La Jara to Camp
Proceed North on Hwy 285, 1/2 mile. Turn west (left) on Hwy 15, then go 10 miles. Make a 90 degree turn to the right at the junk yard and go approximately 100 yards. Turn West onto a dirt road (Forest Road 255) and go approximately 12 miles Northwest to Terrace Reservoir. FR 255 turns into FR 250 just before the lake. Continue West on FR 250 approximately 4.5 miles. You will pass Alamosa Campground 1.5 miles before you come to camp. You will see the camp's red roof buildings on your left before you come to the camp entrance.
