Adventure trips
Adventure trips can be customized to meet your needs. Here's an example of an adventure trip we've done in the past....
AIYM volunteers led a team of 8 boys, ages 12-14, on a trip to Utah. Along the journey to Green River, Utah, we saw an amazing spirit filled transformation in the youth from departing Eldorado, Texas until returning home 10 days later. As we traveled, we toured caverns, national parks, camped, hiked, swam, cooked, enjoyed whitewater rafting, campfires, shared, prayed, cried, and had devotionals. Three boys accepted Christ and we personally conducted 6 baptisms in the Green River. After our 5 day raft trip, we partnered with Ameri-Corp in Green River to participate in a community service project to provide wheel chair accessibility at the headquarters of the local Ameri-Corp office. All of this was filmed and made into a documentary that premiered at the Eldorado First Baptist Church and also aired nationwide April 26, 2014 on the NRB Network.
