Christian Hunter Education

AIYM hosts an annual Christian Youth Hunter Education Weekend at the Main Lodge in Eldorado, TX. Since the program began, there have been over 100 kids, ages 9-17, take this class and learn about firearm safety, hunter education, and Jesus Christ. This class, in addition to teaching firearm safety, teaches Christian character and the awesome responsibility of protecting His creation. Through these classes we have seen many kids “come to Christ.” This event includes local game wardens, EMT’s, special guest speakers, volunteers and pastors, also includes a family fun day of fishing, lunch and awards ceremony. All students have passed their safety classes and exams earning their State certification from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
